Lisa was born and raised in New Jersey. She knew at an early age that she wanted to be an Electrical Engineer like her father. She also had dreams of traveling the world and living in several countries. She was involved in several math, science, and engineering programs in junior and senior high school. After graduating from high school, Lisa attended from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark, New Jersey where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. She also returned to school while at AT&T and earned an MBA with a concentration in Technology Management. Lisa plans to attend the University of Texas at Dallas starting in the fall of 2018, where she will complete course work to obtain a Master of Arts Degree in Arts, Technology, and Emerging Communications.
After graduating from college Lisa started he career with AT&T in their Worldwide Wireless organization, and traveled quite extensively for the first 5 years of her career designing cellular networks around the world. She has lived in Tel Aviv, Israel, Bogota, Colombia, Caracas, Venezuela, Brussels, Belgium, and has traveled to over 60 countries for both work and pleasure. She has also traveled the US extensively while consulting for several wireless companies for 5 years.
Lisa is a results-oriented senior wireless telecom management professional who leverages her US and international experience in leading operations, people and processes to strengthen revenue, profit and competitive market advantage. She has an innate ability to quickly identify issues, define strategic solutions, and oversee tactical execution to turn around underperforming operations. A collaborative leader with unshakable integrity; communicates vision and direction, leads with authenticity, identifies top talent, and empowers teams to reach their highest performance potential. Lisa has worked for AT&T for most of her 20 years in the industry as both an employee and technical consultant. In her current role, she helps to develop the branding strategy for the Construction & Engineering Wireless PMO at AT&T.
Lisa currently resides in the metro Dallas area, and enjoys being home after her many travel adventures. She is an active member in her church and is a member of the Audio, Visual, and Lighting (AVL) ministry where she performs many graphic and video responsibilities for Sunday worship services and special events. Lisa has also mentored several young girls throughout her career and enjoys helping them to overcome fears of math and science.
